The Myself Portrait Project

The Myself Portrait Project is a creative wellbeing initiative created by Elizabeth Hemming to support women’s mental health through art, mindfulness and self-expression.

Offering free, one-to-one drawing sessions from her Stourbridge studio, Elizabeth gently guides each woman through creating her own self-portrait in a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment.

The project provides an opportunity to step away from everyday life, spend time on themselves, learn a new skill and rediscover confidence and self-acceptance.

More than a portrait — a chance to reconnect with yourself.

Elizabeth is currently seeking funding to enable the project to continue and reach more women. Support is welcomed through individual donations, crowdfunding and corporate sponsorship.
